Vanden Bosch

Nearly one billion people worldwide can't study the Word of God because they can’t read. This is especially true in the country of Mozambique, where just 20 percent of the population is considered literate. Mozambique now has one of the fastest growing churches in all of Africa, but due largely to a lack of access to the Scriptures, spiritual growth and discipleship has been severely hampered. In Mozambique, as in many parts of the world, making the Bible available means providing Scriptures in audio form. As director of African operations for Audio Scripture Ministries, Chad oversees audio scripture recording and distribution projects throughout Africa. He travels from his base in Mozambique to new project locations in order to set up recording and distribution programs and train personnel in recording equipment and techniques.

UnReached people groups

Jamestown Reformed Church supports missionaries and their families who serve unreached people groups throughout the world.  Due to the sensitive nature of the areas they serve, we are unable to post their information online. Please contact the office if you would like more information about the families we support.

Sew Sew Mission Sisters

Each month a group of talented women who enjoy sewing gather together to make women's hygiene products to be distributed to girls and women in developing countries.  The picture to the left and the following thank you was received after some of their products were distributed:  "I want to share this picture on behalf of the [local] Christian school.  We blessed the 8th grade girls with your wonderful creations of the feminine products.  As you can see from the photo they are glowing!  Thank you from all of them to each of you!"
