Kids Adventure

Family Night Kids Adventures is for kids ages 3 years thru 2nd grade. They meet every Wednesday night September thru March from 7-8 p.m. and travel to a different site each week, spending five weeks on each Bible story and learning more about the story through the different medium available at each site: science, video, games, storytelling, and crafts.

For the 2009-2010 educational year, the children will be learning about "Creation," "Feasts and Festivals," "Daniel and the Lions Den," and "Jesus Calms the Storm." . Before the kids travel from site to site they have the opportunity to sing songs together and dive into the Bible story they are learning. Leading them in this is Jami Alferink.

The various sites that they visit are:

• Temple of Knowledge (games)
• Science Synagogue (science)
• Kingdom Kitchen (cooking)
  
• Salvation Cinema (video)
• Creation Quarters (arts and crafts)
