S.H.Out

S.H.Out (Somewhere to Hang Out) is an after-school program that is open to all middle school students from January to April from 2:35-5 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each mouth.  S.H.out starts January 20.  S.H.out does not meet during Spring Break. Students have the opportunity to play basketball, football, video games and DDR on the X Box, games on the computers, or participate in other fun activities. Students can also work on homework or just hang out with their friends. S.H.out even has delicious snacks made by volunteers in our church and a can of pop for each student. NEED SOMETHING TO DO AFTER SCHOOL?

If you haven’t heard the news and need something to do after school on Tuesdays, then come on over and join the party at Jamestown Reformed Church. There are many exciting things to do while attending S.H.Out. Some of these things involve exercising while playing sports in the gym. For those who like to be on the computer consistently you can bring along your own games to play on these computers that are available for your convenience. None of these activities sound interesting? Let’s not forget the “youth room” where you will find an Xbox, TV, foosball, and of course air hockey! There are about eight couches for you and your friends to use to hang out and be comfortable. This is a place with a fun environment, so bring along your friends and have a good time! The leader, Jami Alferink, is only in this for your happiness! Go check it out yourself on Tuesday afternoons after school. It goes until five o’clock, so don’t be late!
