Adult Education
After the morning worship service, adults are invited to gather for a time of fellowship and coffee. After connecting with their JRC family, adult are invited to join together for a time of spiritual growth and studying God's Word together.
We also have a weekly Women's Bible Study that meets throughout the school year. Please contact the church office for more information!
Small Groups
Small groups are
an integral piece of ministry life at JRC. We have several small groups
assembled and these groups represent a variety of ages within our
church. These groups exist for many reasons but the first and most
important reason is to grow spiritually. Small groups provide the
chance to not only dive into God’s Word together but to dialogue and
encourage other members of the group towards pursuing Christ-likeness.
Another reason small groups
exist is because group members want to serve others. Small groups have
partnered with local ministries and organizations, outside of JRC, to
reach out and be the presence of Jesus to the world in which we live.
Lastly, the reason to be
active in a small group is because of the social aspect! Small groups
are meant to be FUN! Small groups will often go to events, have dinners
together, watch sporting events, and even join other small groups for
an activity! This is a great way to have fun and get to know other
members of the JRC church family.
SPorts Ministry
Each Monday night from September through March JRC participates in a women's volleyball league with other local churches. Volleyball games are hosted at local church gyms including JRC's gym.
On Tuesday nights, the JRC men join together to play basketball. Basketball begins at 7:30pm and runs from October through the end of March. Come when you can and leave when you must. We hope you join this great group of men for a night of fun and fellowship.
During the summer months we have a men's softball team that plays on a church league. It is always a lot of fun and they even have a fan base of people who attend their games!
Other Opportunities
Fellowship is a key part of the life of JRC! There are many opportunities for adults of all ages to get involved and connect with others from the congregation through out the week. We invite you to join us for a J.O.Y. (Jamestown Older Youth) outing, game nights, summer picnics and other gatherings through out the year.
